Coming July 1, 2025: Boots, Barrels & Bad Decisions: The Untold Tales of Pistol Pete & Johnson McDaniel
An AudioMazes Interactive Audiobook Benefitting Scholarships at OSU
Get ready to saddle up for a wild, whiskey-soaked ride through Oklahoma’s Prohibition-era past — and help fund the future while you’re at it.
This July, AudioMazes proudly launches our latest interactive, fully immersive audiobook adventure, Boots, Barrels & Bad Decisions: The Untold Tales of Pistol Pete & McDaniel — a spirited journey through legend and lore, blending historical fiction with true Oklahoma grit. Set against the backdrop of the Prohibition-era American Midwest, the story reimagines the larger-than-life escapades of real historical figures: Frank “Pistol Pete” Eaton and Johnson McDaniel, a notorious Arkansas bootlegger.
100% of Proceeds Go to Scholarships at Oklahoma State University
We’re calling on listeners, alumni, fans of history, and friends of OSU to help us make a real impact. Your donation directly supports the creation and release of this immersive audio story—and more importantly, 100% of those proceeds go to fund scholarships through the Frank “Pistol Pete” Eaton Foundation at Oklahoma State University.
This project is being created entirely pro bono—from writers and voice actors to producers and designers—because we believe in honoring the past while investing in the future. When you donate, you’re not just helping us tell a one-of-a-kind story; you’re helping OSU students unlock life-changing opportunities through education.
Donations of any size make a difference. And if you give $100 or more before July 1, 2025, you’ll also receive our exclusive Pistol Pete & McDaniel Collector’s Box as a thank-you for being part of something extraordinary.
